Hi! I’m an AP English Language tutor, working mostly with Grade 11s who feel lost with analysis and timed essays. I’ve been tutoring since my own AP days and now help students unpack prompts, plan quickly, and write with a clear voice. We spend a lot of time on real College Board questions and detailed feedback. Parents usually notice improvements first in regular school essays, then in practice exam scores.

I grew up in Halifax and now tutor AP English Language online for students across Canada and the US. I especially enjoy working with bilingual and international students who want to sharpen their academic writing without losing their own voice. We focus on argument essays, rhetorical analysis, and practical fixes to grammar that actually show up in exam marking schemes. I also review internal school assessments and presentation scripts.
